Hi…we’re Michael and Michelle (M&M), sometimes known to our family and friends as Mikey and Shell, but we can’t wait to be called Mom and Dad! We’re so happy that you’ve chosen to learn more about us.

We met in 2000 when Michelle was a freshman and Michael was a junior in college. Michael’s fraternity was in charge of helping move in the freshman in Michelle’s dorm. Michelle is a fun-loving, outgoing, and determined woman that only knows one speed….GO! She is one of the most determined people that I know. She always has a knack for figuring out “the how” while just “doing.” Whether it’s on the ice coaching figure skaters or planning our next Disney trip or vacation; she can have an idea or have a vision on where something needs to be and will just figure out a way to get there. Michael has the type of personality that immediately makes anyone he is around feel comfortable and welcomed. He has the ability to find humor in any situation and, as terrible as his jokes might be sometimes (cue the dad jokes), you can always count on him to make you laugh.

Ask anyone who knows him, and they would tell you that Michael is incredibly compassionate and loving. At work (he’s a nursing home administrator) he treats his residents the same way he would want his grandparents treated. At home, he gives me the space and freedom to just “be...

Living just outside of Baltimore, we are very lucky to be in an area that’s a short trip to our family in NJ and close to all of our friends and extended family in MD/VA/DC. We like to take advantage of all the activities that the Baltimore-area offers, from it’s the beautiful parks to the many sporting events. We might be NY Yankee fans, but we love going to Camden Yards and enjoying an O’s game.

We both grew up in very tight knit families and continue to be that way today. Michelle has a younger brother and when her father remarried in 2018, gained three more. There is never a dull moment in our family! We are loud and fun and always there for each other. Kind of hard to miss when a family of 11 (including spouses and soon to be more with babies) comes into a restaurant or really any establishment! Mike, on the other hand, has an older sister and two nieces. Quality time together is always important to them, and family vacations and holidays are a must!

We love traveling and can’t wait to continue our travels, both near and far as a family. We especially love taking trips to Walt Disney World. Michelle has LOVED Disney for many years, and her passion for it shows that grown-ups can still enjoy the Disney Magic. We’ve made some amazing memories at Disney World over the years, whether it was feeling the magic while on the Peter Pan ride or being photobombed by one of the Princesses in Epcot. We can’t wait to see that magic through the eyes of a child, and to place their first pair of Mickey Ears on their head.
