Michael and Michelle

We're looking to adopt a baby

Hi…we’re Michael and Michelle (M&M), sometimes known to our family and friends as Mikey and Shell, but we can’t wait to be called Mom and Dad! We’re so happy that you’ve chosen to learn more about us.

We met in 2000 when Michelle was a freshman and Michael was a junior in college. Michael’s fraternity was in charge of helping move in the freshman in Michelle’s dorm. We started off as friends, eventually started dating (after a little convincing from Michael) and the rest is history. We were married in 2007 surrounded by our friends and family. Our ceremony and reception were very much extensions of our personality, including a cake topper of us as M&Ms.

Sometime after we decided it was the right time to start our family, we learned we wouldn’t be able to do so biologically (or without a lot of help through IVF). That’s when we decided that adoption was the path for us.  We can’t wait to grow our family and our dogs, Sussie and Thor, can’t wait to have a baby to play with and protect!
